Result-Making was conceived by the Maryland Association of Wholesaler-Distributors, a BirdTraffic company

MAW BirdTraffic is committed to assisting independent wholesaler-distributors to better achieve the targeted results they desire. BirdTraffic is a development company that offers guidance and tools to do this according to a proprietary accounting and consulting method called Result-Making.

MAW, the Maryland Association of Wholesaler-Distributors, is a BirdTraffic company and member of the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors. MAW represents our content production.

MAW BirdTraffic was founded by Ken Seal.


Ken Seal is the founder of MAW BirdTraffic.

A CPA since 1978, Ken spent the early part of his career in corporate finance in the banking industry. He then moved to the practice of accounting and consulting for independent businesses. He has been engaged in the latter in public accounting (national and local) and through solo and boutique consulting. He has worked with clients in wholesale distribution for 30 years.

Ken was an accounting major at Washington and Lee University and has an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School.

He has served on a number of non-profit boards, including service on the Executive Committee of USA Lacrosse. He has taught accounting at Loyola University Maryland and Stevenson University.

He lives in Towson, Maryland.

We are using a demo company called Champion Parts Distribution that handles aftermarket parts for a ficticious equipment line called “multi-jobbers.”

We will use the demo company, the industry content and our BirdTraffic approach to result-making to suggest what Strategic Moves might be available to distributors.

The name MAW BirdTraffic reflects its two initiatives - industry - content (once under the name of Maryland Association of Wholesaler-Distributors, and financial management driven by results using the BirdTraffic “result-making” methodology.
